Twisted take: She took a bite of the apple & fell to the ground. But it wasn't enough to kill her. It only paralyzed her body. The dwarves found her & buried her, alive. Her body was decomposing & the animals started pecking away at her. She wasn't buried completely & got trampled on. {PS: I initially wanted to cover my whole eye & have maggots crawling out of it... But I put too much Vaseline on my fingers & the scar wax wasn't staying}
